Just got back from Georgia to meet Maximilian James Patrick Kearns and play with #1 granddaughter and newly proclaimed big sister Karolina. Went to Karolina's soccer practice and watched her and her Dad/coach.

Modern grandmothers still work and can't be around to bake pies, go to recitals or ballgames the way we'd like to but we can keep a diary of all the wonderful things we do see and can treasure about our grandchildren when we see them. That way, neither the grandkids nor the granny get taken for granted.
